How to Build Great Teams
Duration: 2 days

About The Workshop:

This workshop is based on the strategies outlined in my article published by Covey Leadership Center, USA in their magazine ‘Executive Excellence’ (October 2001). The workshop is based on experiential and interactive exercises and brings about transformation through a thorough revamping of existing unproductive and self-defeating beliefs of participants deep at the subliminal levels of consciousness.

Contents:

  1. Discovering and responding from the truth of oneness. How to ensure that teammates respond as ‘one people in many different bodies’. Creating team synergy: Discovering and dovetailing personal life purpose, talents, skills and goals with those of organization.

  2. Learning to put forward your opinions, logic or view points, without contradicting others’. Learning to be respectfully assertive instead of being aggressive or submissive.

  3. How to make exemplary transparency in our dealings a way of life.

  4. How to ensure accountability with great professional freedom to achieve goals.  Owning responsibility for our shortcomings and having a passion to do the needful for their rectification.

  5. Visualizing and meditating together to perform miracles together.

  6. How to keep the morale of the team high. Developing a collective inner state conducive to outer personal and organizational success How to use enthusiasm to cause accomplishments instead of resulting from them. Seeing and visualizing the ultimate success beyond the apparent and temporary failures.

  7. Replacing scarcity consciousness with abundance consciousness and the attitude of resentment with that of gratitude.

  8.   Allocating ‘made for each other’ work slots to your people.

  9. How to ensure that team members feel that together they own as well as are being owned by the organization—like a family.

  10. Developing a habit of appreciating your people more often--even for small things.

  11. The art of giving and receiving negative feedback.

  12. Learning to respond instead of reacting. Trying to understand others before trying to be understood by them.
